Try to capture a bit of depth and a bit of mood, don't always take every photo from directly straight on to the object. You also can take a photograph of part of the object and not necessarily the whole thing. Remember move your object around and play with lighting and colours.

Walk around your object and capture it from many different angles, you will be surprised what differing affects you can achieve while adjusting the levels of sunshine, shadow and depth.

Take a photo of an object and add something in the foreground or background for that extra slice of interest, also try and achieve small shadows that give the statue in this case just that little bit more depth

Cats are quite easy to work with if they are full of biscuits and milk but at any other time they can be a bit of an handful, add a bit of feeling and mood with shadow and sunlight.

Take your time and remember you may have to take twenty shots to get one good shot, not every shot will come out as good as you would like it to. In time and with luck and nature on your side you will soon be taking shots like this. Remember to go with the flow, this is a real cat and a real goat and they don't pose easily.
